The LB is the latest recorder in the Nagra range. It is a two-channel digital recorder designed specifically for the broadcast industry. It supports a combination of features from the rest of the Nagra family making it a very versatile tool for many recording applications.
This compact recorder is designed to enable journalists to record and edit their material in–the-field and return it to the studio over the GSM network.

The CMA-1XE is designed for the discerning professional recording engineer. The microphone pre-amplifier is a critical component in the recording chain, as it must take a low-level signal from any of a wide range of transducers and amplify it so that it can be transmitted to a recording or distribution system without loss of information or the introduction of noise. To meet today's requirements for quality, particularly driven by advanced digital media such as 192 kHz/24 bit DVD-A (192S), places huge demands on the preamplifier electronics. The CMA-1XE has been designed to meet these challenges.
The CMA-1XE is a pre-amplifier that can provide precise 1 dB gain adjustment with minimal noise - it is designed to provide a very transparent signal path where the original signal from the microphone is perfectly preserved and our precision stepped attenuator allows exact gain matching of two or more amplifiers for use with stereo microphones.

The Nagra-VI 24-bit 8-track digital audio recorder/player.

The Nagra-VI is a 24-bit solid-state 8-track digital audio recorder/player with built-in mixing functions designed for location recording. It uses a 120GB internal hard drive (HDD) as its principal storage medium and a removable Compact Flash card (CF) as a secondary media and file transportation format. It is designed and built as an “on-location” recorder with the traditional Nagra ruggedness.

The audio information is stored as a digital linear Broadcast Wave file and the recorded files are iXML compatible. Equipped as standard with SMPTE/EBU time code, audio limiters and filters (integrated into the microphone preamplifiers), hign-speed USB-2.0 interface, a detachable battery pack and a 3 ½” TFT colour display. The front panel, chassis and features were all designed using the experience of previous NAGRA recorders which render the Nagra-VI easy to understand and simple to operate even in harsh environmental conditions. It is powered by a Lithium-Ion rechargeable pack (4.6 or 13.8 Ah). The record autonomy with the standard 4.6 Ah pack is approximately 4 hours. With the optional larger pack this in increased to more than 12 hours. It is also equipped with two Hirose connectors allowing external RF receivers or digital mikes to be powered from the battery box of the machine while on location. The Nagra VI has, as its name suggests, six analogue inputs on XLR connectors, four of which are equipped with extremely high quality microphone pre-amplifiers. The other two connectors double up as AES A and B inputs for connection to digital signal sources. The four microphone pre-amplifiers not only offer +48V phantom powering, as one expects, but they are also equipped with Nagra in-house wound transformers (when set to the dynamic position) offering an improvement of more than 6dB in the noise floor over the equivalent transformerless inputs.
